The temple is situated on the outer ring road in Rohini and it is a very popular Hindu temple of Kaali Mata. Every year lots of devotees from every group visit this temple to have the darshan of Mata Rani. On Saturdays, there is a long queue of 1 KM due to the rush and popularity of this temple.

History

This religious temple is more than 100 years old. There is no particular date when it was built.

Kali Mata Mandir is a Hindu temple in Rohini, Delhi and it is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kali, who is one of the 51 Shakti Peeths.

Kali Mata Mandir is a very famous temple in Rohini. Many devotees from different parts of the city or nearby cities like Gurugram, Noida, etc. visit this temple.

Devotees offer Prashad to Kali Mata. Every Saturday thousands of devotees visit this temple and take blessings from the goddess.

It is believed if your wish comes true then you are supposed to revisit the Mandir and thanks to Kali Mata.

Currently, there are three Pandits(Priests) and several sewak working and maintaining the temple.

Sanchalak

The Sanchalak of this temple is Surajmal Pahalwan who is the head member of the Gram Sudhar Samiti community that operates and maintains this temple.

Akhand Jyot

This Akhand Jyot is lit all the time and people can offer mustard oil in it.

Shani Dev

Shani Dev, the god of Karma(deeds) is also very popular at this temple. Devotees worship Shani Dev and offer Mustard Oil(Sarso ka tel) on Saturdays to get the blessings of Shani Dev.

As per popular belief, if we offer the mustard oil to Lord Shani Dev, he gets pleased and helps us to get rid of Shani Dosha, Sade Sati or Dhaiya. Along with that, we can also light a mustard oil Diya(lamp).

Prashad List

Devotees can offer Nariyal, Chunni, Phoolo ki Maala, Sweets, Fruits and Mustard Oil to Kali Mata

They can also light a Mustard Oil lamp near a stand placed at Mandir.

Bhandara

Devotees can contribute to Bhandara services at this temple. We can donate any amount, most people pay up to Rs. 1000 – 50,000/-. Although, it is not mandatory to pay for everyone.

On Saturday most of the time Bhandara is provided for the whole day.
